You are advised to book activities well in advance. You can use our Activity Booking Form or you can telephone us, but bookings made in this manner must be confirmed on a booking form.
Max: 12 people. For safety reasons users must be at least 1.2 metres high to the shoulder.
This ten element High Ropes course is open and is proving immensely popular.
The course runs through the woods, with varied challenging sections to traverse between the trees. It starts a few feet above ground level and finishes at elevation of over ten metres with an exciting descent on a zip-wire run of almost 100 metres!
Safety is our primary concern and the course utilises dual clip safety harnesses throughout and is closely monitored by qualified supervisors.
Max: 20 people.
Our new double sided Traverse Wall has three zig zag faces on each side giving a full length of 20 metres with safety fall matting along the full length and only requires leader supervision.
Two new nature trails in the woodlands are now in use and involve tree and leaf identification. Group leaders are supplied with answer sheets.
Max: 16 people. All participants must be over 1 metre in height.
We now have the choice of air rifles or rifles which fire low velocity plastic pellets instead of lead.
The range is fully enclosed.
All Paccar Instructors / Supervisors have been trained on the use of this activity.
You are welcome to supply your own instructors.
Please also note that the Scout Association's Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR) states:
for each young person under the age of 18 years of age, the leader of the activity must obtain written permission from each young person's parent/guardian before undertaking the activity, or series of activities.

The wall has been modified and is now 9 metres high with a new abseil area (4 meters higher).
The wall can be used in the evenings as it is floodlit. Maximum number per hour is 15 persons.
All Paccar Instructors / Supervisors for this activity are qualified to the requirements contained in the Scout Association's Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR).
There may not always be an Instructor available qualified to Guide standard but you will always have the option to use Scout qualified Instructors.
Only Paccar instructors can be used on this activity.

Crate StackingMax: 12 people. The new crate stacking is an excellent team building game suitable for 6 years old upward, dependant on height. Younger users build a double stack of crates and older members go for a single stack. |
CrossbowsMax: 18 people. We now have six mini crossbows with sucker darts which are very suitable for younger users (5 years +). |
Adventure AreaMax: 30 people. Our Adventure Area is aimed at the younger children with climbing, walkover, trampoline and airial runway. This activity requires Leader/adult supervision and is not suitable for persons aged over 11 years of age. |
Ball GamesVolleyball, Basketball and Table Tennis are available to set up on the Main Field for your use free of charge. A deposit is required for Bats & Balls borrowed. Boule sets are available from the office at 50p per hour. |
Skittle AlleyMax: 24 people. Our indoor skittle alley has two lanes. Great fun whatever the weather or time of day. |

Hike RoutesA selection of routes is available from the office. OS Maps available either to purchase or we have a limited number for loan. |

Pedal Go-KartsMax: 24 people. Five karts are available for use on a purpose built track, helmets are provided. This activity requires Leader/adult supervision. |
PioneeringWe have an extensive range of pioneering equipment and it is available on a daily basis free of charge. We also have the necessary equipment for an aerial runway. |
Rabbit RunMax: 24 people. A series of 2ft (60cm) diameter underground tunnels. A surface trial tunnel a also available. There are built-in escape hatches. This activity requires Leader/adult supervision. |
Treasure Hunts / QuizzesThese are available from the office. |
Circus SkillsMax: 30 people. New to the site in May 2011, this activity keeps people active and there is something suitable for most age groups; learn to juggle, spin the plates, walk on stilts or ride a unicycle. |
